French countryside

In my last post, I mentioned the blog I’ve started following called O Happy Day (about the recently lived in paris family). I just found that her older sister also blogs and lives in France, but in the countryside with six kids. What’s more, these kids have started a tv mini series of their own about their lives called Olive us including tutorials and trips to the clockmaker’s shop. You can find it on the newly launched online channel created by Scripps (which also owns HGTV and the Food network). Check out this first episode. The kids are adorable and the nature scenes,  treehouse and intricate details of a french countryhouse are beautiful! I’m sure the parents of these kids had a lot to do with the production, set up, and financing of making this happen. But it boggles my mind how resourceful the family is to think up of and decide to make a tv series?! It really makes you think. The kinds of limitless tools that the next generation of kids posses  at their fingertips…
