Sunday brunch and babies

Our friends Nina and Richie came over for brunch Sunday and knowing that Richie is a vegetarian and I had been waiting for an excuse to make chef chloe’s bean burger, I made it! unfortunately, the buns are a bit top heavy and you can’t see the glorious masterpiece underneath very well, but just know that was gooooood. I also made some cajun sweet potato fries, which was really easy just toss potato, cajun seasoning and sea salt and bake for 15 min on each side.

bean burger, avocado and mango sauce

later that evening, we went to lena’s daughter’s third birthday, which was ballerina themed. We got them a lego set in an awesome shark giftbag. They had mini cupcakes with ballerinas on top. I just love this picture cause it looks like the ballerinas are dancing!
