Or in otherwords, cookies withalmonds and rasberry jam!
This weekend, our weekend was full of signs that we are smack in the middle of fall season. I baked up these ghoulish goodies (substituting eggs with egg whites, and butter with non hydrogenated veggie oil) and they turned out delicious! I love it when first time recipes turn out well. I took them to a pumpkin carving party that was today which was actually my first attempt ever, and I think he turned out pretty handsome and reminded me of another rather good luck looking wolfish character in our family:

another fall favorite is scooping in a nice dish of creme brulee and if they bring it out with the flames still burning, it’s even better.
And don’t forget another fall favorite, cheering on the stands for duke men’s soccer team and forced to leave at halftime cause you didn’t think you needed a jacket and it became 40 degrees out.
